Since I can remember, I've had a deep passion for helping animals, and it dawned on me—why not extend our mission of finding the perfect home for people to include pets as well? In November of 2023, our family adopted Delilah from Vegas Roots Rescue and in March of 2024 we facilitated another Vegas Roots rescue into the family when my motherin-law adopted Zero-to-Hero.
BUT WE WANTED TO DO MORE!
That's why in August 2025, The Meyer Team proudly partnered with Vegas Roots Rescue. Now, when you buy or sell a home with us, and pass Vegas Roots approval process, we take care of your pet adoption fees! The goal is to help Vegas Roots’ Mission, TO HELP ANIMALS THAT HAVE BEEN ABANDONED, NEGLECTED, AND PUT IN A POSITION TO BE EUTHANIZED, through adoption or donation with every home sold!

- Choose Your Furry Friend
- After closing, a member of our team will contact you to discuss adopting a pet from Vegas Roots Rescue. You can browse their available pets here.
- Six-Month Adoption Window
- You'll have a generous six months post-closing contact Vegas Roots Rescue and go through their application process. (Please note, final approval is at the discretion of Vegas Roots).
- Adoption Fees on Us

- If you're approved, The Meyer Team will cover your pet adoption fees! (Note: You'll need to cover the cost of any additional pet supplies).
- If now isn't the right time for a pet, no problem! We'll direct the adoption fee to the shelter as a client gift in your name.
